Tamdan McCrory was released from the Ultimate Fighting Championship following his loss to John Howard at UFC 101. After training and fighting for 3 years straight he figured being released was not such a bad thing, taking this time to relax. He knew he would return to fighting, but was aware his size was a major factor. Tamdan knew that he was a big welterweight, but also a very small middleweight. He decided to start training to get to the size he needs to be successful as a middleweight. Here is a little glimpse of McCrory building up to take on the middleweight division.

The inaugural event for Philadelphia based mixed martial arts promotion, Xtreme Caged Combat, took place on October 3rd in Reading PA. The event was scheduled to consist of 15 MMA fights, by fight time there were only 10. The action, on the other hand, was anything but lacking. (more)
